Gardening in Kent – Coolings

In Sevenoaks, this week for me is all about the garden. After Storm Katie caused havoc in Kent this Easter long weekend, the garden needs some much-needed attention. Because of this, I’ll be taking the kids down to our ever popular Coolings Garden Centre. You can stock up on all your plants and browse the local Sevenoaks Craft Fair, which will be held there this coming Friday. Enjoy, and don’t forget to stop for a coffee and some yummy cake in the local cafe. http://keepitlocalevents.co.uk/

Best in Kent

If you’re thinking of relocating to Kent then why not check out this list from the best of England. They’ve found the best cafes, restaurants, pubs, delis, museums and galleries. Loads of places to see over the coming warmer months. Another reason to relocate the family to Kent. I’ve tried and tested a few of them and all are fab. Easter Fun at Riverhill Gardens

One of the best things about relocating to Sevenoaks and surrounding areas in Kent at this time of year is that you get to spend your weekends roaming the fields and browsing the historical gardens which are suddenly starting to burst into life. My March relocation pick of the month is The Riverhill Himalayan Gardens.  My lovely friend Sarah Rogers and her team are opening on Saturday 19th March. The famous Easter Bunny hunt will take place from Wednesday 23rd March – Monday 28th March and if you love taking a few snaps then why not enter the Riverhill Kent Garden Photography competition, in partnership with Kent Life Magazine. Loads for all to do. Enjoy! http://riverhillgardens.co.uk
